Doodlepedia
As promised here are some of the pages I did for DK a little while back. The three above were used along with others and the two below are just a couple that were decided not to be included into the book. The final pages have information about the images shown and also photographic elements. I am working on two more books with them at the moment so hopefully I can give you news on that soon. The children's book I have been illustrated and is being printed now! So I will be able to show some of that soon too. If you fancy getting your own Doodlepedia book and a sneaky peak at some of the other illustrators work within the book.click---> here
Your never too old for a good doodle!

Hello everyone.
It has been a while since I have had time to just draw what I want for fun. I have never tried to create images of famous people so I thought I would give it a go. I also wanted to loosen up a bit and create fun imagery so I went back to my good old friend 'blind drawing'. I think more of that is soon to take place as I really enjoy it. I would like to do some more celeb drawings, any suggestions?Let me know what you think, always appreciate your comments.
Have a good weekend.

Hello again and give away

Firstly hello!
Sorry its been so long again.
Attached is the invitation I created for my good friend Faye who is getting married in July. (Sorry for the bad picture quality I'm not sure why that happened?)
Anyway I have been busy drawing away. I am working on some new things with DK and the childrens book I mentioned a while ago is coming to the final stages! So nearly ready to buy YAY.
I have now reached over 80 followers yay again and welcome. I have a feeling I did mention I would do a little give away when I reached 80 followers so here it comes!
It you fancy winning some free Handmade Holly goodies then let me know by commenting below with the word win, or on my facebook page and make sure you 'like' and say win on my wall.
Please make sure you enter by 22 April. I will then pick one (or more!) people from random to win. Have a good week!

What is Love?

Hello lovely people!
Last week I entered the TigerPrint comp 'What is love' my card 'You make my tummy feel funny' was a running up design!
This competition gave me a chance to use typography, which was actually really fun. Cheak out the very deserved winner here. Her design is truly beautiful.
I'm off again next at the end of this week for a bit more skiing! (Very excited) Lets just hope I don't land on my head this time!

Hello 2012
Hello everybody!
I hope you all had a great Christmas, did you get anything nice?
And a Happy New Year to you all.
So 2011 is over and a lot happened, I think....I don't have the best memory.
My website was lanched,
I went to New York and met some lovely people,
I finished my finial year at uni, sad to leave everyone but exciting,
I exibited at New Designers,
I graduated and I didn't trip on my gown brilliant,
My poster was shown in Brighton, Eastbourne, East Croyden and Victoria train station,
There was talk about commissioning 3 more posters (no news yet),
I was in the paper because of the poster,
I got a call from DK,
I did work for DK,
I found out I was going to be a bridesmaid,
I got a call from people that saw my poster about a childrens book,
Started working on said childrens book,
I went skiing,
I landed on my head,
I found out I was going to be another bridesmaid!
I ate too much.
2012 has begun and I will:
Go to two hen partys,
Go to two weddings,
Be a bridesmaid twice,
Have my illustrations in a published DK book!
Finish the children's book,
Sell the children's book (hopefully),
Write lots more children's books,
Go to publisers with children's books,
Draw more,
Have a new studio,
Learn more things about stuff,
Go skiing again,
Not land on my head!
Be happy.
So there we go, lets hope I stick to them, and more I have floating around in my head which I need to catch and work out. What do you plan to do in 2012?
