Something a little different from me. I fancied having a doodle and working with pencil again. I think I will try to recreate this image using just ink next and make the block colour more definate.

Autumn Leaves

   

Hello. Here are some photos I took at Nymans Gardens. I love autumn and all the beautiful colours the leaves create. Handmade Holly has recently turned into a bit of a photo blog, but some more illustrations on the way to you soon along with some crafty christmas bits. Hever Castle

As I mentioned in an earlier blog I went to Hever Castle with a couple of friends. These are a few sketches from the painting dotted around the walls of the castle.

I was also inspired to create some historic characters after meeting Emma Carisle, she has a lovely style so go an check her out.
